Hi everyone!
Welcome back to my blog!
Today, I will like to introduce a movie called “The Pursuit of Happyness” because it inspires people to seek their own pursuit of happiness and reflect upon our journey in life time. This movie was broadcast in 2006 based on a true story about a man named Christopher Gardner. In fact, I believed several of you guys have heard or seem about this movies. The major characters are the father Chris (Will Smith) and his son(Jaden Smith).
So here is the preview of the movie. Christopher Gardner, a salesman struggling to make ends meet for his wife and the little son. However, as it comes to the financial burdens, his wife felt depressed and abandons him and their son. Gardner experienced several bad luck of his life and he and the little son are evicted from their home because of financial barriers and must live on the streets. They are forced to seek for shelters wherever they can find, even spending a night in a subway bathroom. However, things start to looking good when Gardner applies for an internship with a stock brokerage firm. The internship is unpaid with 20 other interns will be chosen to stay with the company as full-time. In the end, Garner finally make himself stand out from his competitors and find his pursuit of happiness.
This movie has won several rewards and still inspiring several peoples nowadays to overcome hardships in lifetime. Indeed, there are several life lessons in this movie and abundant of good quotes from Gardner as well. I wish you could find out your favorite quote after watching this movie.
Below is a conversation between Gardner and his son:
Christopher Gardner: [after playing basket ball] Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right?
Christopher Gardner: You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.
