Comments: I just saw Spotlight and was blown away by the skill with which this excruciatingly painful story was told. The intelligent screenplay, the superlative acting by a stellar cast, the fine direction that kept the dramatic action moving along. —Halyna, age 69 (USA)
There is a fair amount of adult language and frank discussion of the sexual abuse that did occur. The acting is excellent, and the screenplay is very well written. “Spotlight” is a high quality film with something to say that I recommend to mature adults. —Steve Allaby, age 35 (Canada)
Blogger: So, I have just watch this movies. Although it contains lots of F words but the characters did a great job of making the story even realistic. Audiences should take extreme caution because there are harsh references are made in this movie. In the end, I hope you will like this movie and make a comment about it!
Is It Cool?: Excellence in Filmmaking. This is a story that had to be told, and the filmmakers have done a capable and responsible job of illustrating the "Spotlight" team of investigative reporters at the Boston Globe who broke the Catholic Church's clergy sex abuse story.
